Custom Caviar Tins With Your Logo: Design, Sizes and Turnaround

Custom Caviar Tins With Your Logo: Design, Sizes and Turnaround

Custom caviar tins with your logo are real caviar tins carrying your brand on the lid instead of the supplier's. Most programs apply a custom printed label to a stock tin, which takes about a week once your artwork is ready. Fully bespoke tins with custom finishes take longer and suit larger or ongoing programs.

A tin of caviar is already the most photographed thing on any table. Put your logo on the lid and every one of those photos is yours.

Hotels do it for bar service. Nightlife groups do it for VIP tables. Real estate agents hand them out at showings, and brands send them to the clients they actually want to keep. Here's how custom caviar tins work, what to choose, and how to design a lid that looks expensive rather than homemade.

Two ways to put your logo on a caviar tin

There are two routes, and the right one depends on your timeline and how far you want to take it.

Custom label on a stock tin Fully custom tin
What's branded A printed label on the lid The tin itself, its finish, and often a gift box
Turnaround About 1 week with your artwork, about 2 weeks if we design it Longer on the first run, quoted per project
Best for Events, launches, gifting, bar and VIP service Hotels, signature menus, ongoing programs
Caviére program Express Signature

Most people start with a custom label. It's fast, it looks sharp, and it lets you test the idea on one event before committing to anything bigger. Both routes are part of our private label caviar service.

Which tin size should carry your logo?

Our custom tins come in 30g, 50g, 125g, 250g, 500g and 1kg. Pick the size for how the caviar will be eaten, not how impressive the number sounds.

  • 30g: a tasting for one or two. Ideal for welcome gifts, place settings and caviar bumps at a VIP table.
  • 50g: the classic gift size. Enough for two people to properly enjoy, and the usual choice for bar service.
  • 125g: a sharing tin for a small dinner or your most important clients.
  • 250g to 1kg: events, caviar bars and plated service, where the tin sits on display.

For bar and table service, 30g and 50g win because they're opened and finished in a single night. If you're catering, our guide to how much caviar per person does the maths for you.

Designing a logo that looks good on a caviar tin

The lid is small and round, so the design rules are different from your website header. A few that make the difference:

  1. Go simple. A clean mark, monogram or wordmark reads beautifully on a small lid. Busy logos, fine print and taglines turn to mush.
  2. Think about contrast. Our stock tins are black, so light, gold or silver artwork pops. A dark logo on a dark lid disappears.
  3. Consider foil. A single metallic colour is the classic caviar tin look and makes almost any logo feel premium.
  4. Send the right file. A vector file (SVG, PDF or AI) is best. A high-resolution transparent PNG works too. A screenshot of your Instagram profile picture does not.
  5. Approve the proof. We send a proof for approval before anything is printed, so you see exactly what arrives.

Want to see it before you commit? Upload your logo to the "Try it on" tool on our private label page and preview it on a tin in full colour or foil. Your artwork never leaves your browser.

What else goes on the tin

Your brand is the only brand on the lid. Nothing on a Caviére custom tin identifies us or our packing facility.

The practical details still exist, just not on the front. Lot and use-by information is printed on the tin separately from your label, and US food labelling rules let the business on the label describe its connection with a phrase such as "Distributed by". Our guide to private label caviar covers labelling in more detail.

What's inside matters more than the lid

A gorgeous tin of disappointing caviar is a very expensive way to embarrass your brand. Choose the caviar for the moment:

Not sure which? Our Ossetra vs Kaluga vs Siberian guide breaks it down, and a tasting before you commit is always the smart move.

From logo to delivered tins: the timeline

  1. Send your logo, sizes and rough quantities. A short call is usually enough to shape the order.
  2. Approve your proof. Nothing is printed until you sign off.
  3. We pack and label. About one week from final artwork to first shipment, or about two weeks if we design the label with you.
  4. Tins ship overnight on ice, Monday to Thursday, to anywhere in the continental US. Orders ship same day when they're in by 1pm ET.

Planning for December, Valentine's Day or a big launch? Add extra time. Carriers get busy and closed holidays shift delivery days.

Where custom caviar tins work best

  • Hotel bars and restaurants: a house-branded tin for caviar service.
  • Nightlife and VIP tables: small tins that arrive with the bottle and get photographed every time.
  • Weddings and private events: a monogram or crest at each place setting.
  • Corporate gifting: client and staff gifts that don't end up in a drawer. Our guide to corporate caviar gifts covers the logistics.
  • Real estate and luxury launches: closing gifts and launch night giveaways people actually talk about.

Frequently asked questions

Yes. We apply your custom label to our caviar tins, or build fully custom tins and gift boxes on our Signature program. Your brand is the only brand on the tin.

How long do custom caviar tins take?

About one week from receiving your final artwork to first shipment. If we design the label for you, allow about two weeks. Fully custom tins take longer on the first run.

What file should I send for my logo?

A vector file (SVG, PDF or AI) is best. A high-resolution PNG with a transparent background also works. We send a proof before anything is printed.

What sizes do custom caviar tins come in?

30g, 50g, 125g, 250g, 500g and 1kg. For gifts and bar service, 30g and 50g are the most popular.

Can you ship custom tins directly to each recipient?

Yes. We ship overnight on ice to your venue in bulk or to individual recipients anywhere in the continental United States.

How long do custom caviar tins keep?

Unopened and refrigerated at 28°F to 32°F, tins keep for 4 to 6 weeks. Our guide on how to store caviar has the details.
